Enjoying a wonderfully mild climate throughout the year, Pedras del Rei is a charming resort in the Eastern Algarve. Surrounded by green areas and perfectly integrated with the landscape, where every day you can hear the chirping of birds, suggests relaxing and peaceful stays.

The house has a nice terrace where you can drink or have a meal while enjoying the gardens and the Formosa River. The House has one bedroom (with King Size Bed) and there are also two single beds in the Living Room, so this house accommodates up to four people which means that this house is perfect for a couple with 2 children. We are keeping a large pine tree next to the house. This way, the house has lots of surrounding shadows keeping it fresh because we don't like to have A/C at the house, but we supply fans.

From the terrace, you can enjoy the nature of Ria Formosa-protected Natural Park. This area of the Algarve is also fresher (from 28 to 33 degrees during the summer). The gardens are available to all resort guests. It is a big garden where you can rest or read a book.

We supply towels and bed linen too. The kitchen is fully equipped to make your own breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also a dishwasher and a washing machine. You will have free and unlimited wireless internet at the resort's reception from 8:00 a.m. to midnight. Private parking in front of the house (at 50 meters).

The house is 250 meters from the Swimming Pool and tennis court. You just have to walk for 3 minutes to get there. On the other hand, is far enough to keep peace and quiet during the day (avoiding the rush of the children at the swimming pool) and during the night (avoiding the noise of the night activities at the lounge area near the pool).

To go to Barril's famous beach, residents will have to cross a rustic bridge to the beach island just in front of the resort and take the rustic train that takes 6 to 7 minutes on a nice trip to the Formosa River Natural Park and arrive at the beautiful beach of Barril placed on the island called "Ilha de Tavira". Barril Beach is very well known in Algarve for its high quality. You can rent a canopy or a sun umbrella. You can also enjoy the bars, restaurants, nautical sports, shops, and Ice Cream shops on the beach. Train trips cost 3.2€ (Both ways) per person but it is free for our guests (we supply cards for unlimited trips for 4 people during your stay).

The nearest village to the resort is Santa Luzia, the land specialized in octopuses. It is 2,4 Kilometers which means you can walk to this village. It is a fisherman's village, so there are lots of nice restaurants to eat fish and seafood. But you can also eat nice meat dishes.

If you are looking for a modern, fancy place and/or with a very active nightlife, this is not the best option for you. If you are looking for a rustic place, for a relaxing stay in Algarve surrounded by nature, this will be a very good experience in this quiet and beautiful natural resort.
